SUNSET / STARGAZING SWIM, FALMOUTH AREA

There are 2 options available here. Book the swim as a stand-alone event or book our ‘End of season swimming holiday’ which includes this swim.
The swim offers the participants a stunning stargazing swim in a safe and sheltered quarry, as well as providing the rare opportunity to swim in the quarry…which is not ordinarily open to the public. All entries include a BBQ dinner, post-swim, you also have the option of booking the sauna…to run alongside your swim (provided we have availability).
BBQ dinner is provided with each ticket, with meat and vege options.
Event takes place with a Waning Crescent moon, offering just 4% light! With minimal light pollution in the area, the stars will really stand out on a clear evening.
SESSION 1 : 5.55PM PRE-SUNET SESSION. Swim session lasts from 5.55-6.55pm, with the option of booking the quarry-side sauna. The sauna will be open throughout this 60 minute session. Sunset is at 7.24pm.
SESSION 2 : swimming in the fading light, through sunset and into the night. Session starts at 7pm (Sunset is at 7.24pm) and ends at 7.50pm. The sauna will be open throughout this 50 minute session, for swimmers that have selected this option.
SESSON 3 : Night swim, available through our ‘End of season swimming holiday’. Night swim under the stars. Session lasts from 7.55-8.45pm. We’ll stagger sauna use for the participants. CLICK HERE for more info and booking.

An event that's always a lot of fun and gets great feedback!
We’re putting on a full moon night swim. We’ve chosen October as the water still has some warmth and you don't have to stay up too late to see the moon. We also saw Trevassack Lake as the ideal location. With a stunning, safe, enclosed lake with consistent conditions and minimal light pollution…allowing for some world class stargazing and a view of the full moon (on a clear night). There are also top notch changing facilities and a cafe onsite.
All sessions include a beautiful seasonal vege stew, as well as a hot beverage and the 'essential' portion of cake!
*Full disclosure...it's not a full moon! Nearly...86% full. Why do all the full moons land midweek!?

Session 1 : 5.15-5.55pm Swim around the lake. Swim around the perimeter of the lake at your own pace and follow it up with a delightful and social dinner. *Ticket price includes the option of a vegetable stew dinner, cake and a hot drink. 24 places available with sauna session.
Session 2 : 6-6.30pm Sunset Dip. We'll designate an area near the lakeside for a leisurely dip, whilst the sun sets. 6-6.30pm. Up to 24 swimmers permitted. *Ticket price includes a sunset swim and vegetable stew dinner, cake and a hot drink. 10 places available with sauna session.
Session 3 : 6.30-7pm will offer a swim in a designated area of the lake, where you'll experience the 'transition' from sunset to moonrise! Up to 18 swimmers permitted. *Ticket price includes a full moon swim, vegetable stew dinner, cake and a hot drink. 10 places available with sauna session.
Session 4 : 7.05-7.35pm will offer a longer swim in a designated area of the lake, under a full moon! Up to 18 swimmers permitted. *Ticket price includes a full moon swim, vegetable stew dinner, cake and a hot drink. 10 places available with sauna session.
Session 5 : 7.40-8.15pm will offer a longer swim in a designated area of the lake, under a full moon! Up to 12 swimmers permitted. *Ticket price includes a full moon swim, vegetable stew dinner, cake and a hot drink. 10 places available with sauna session.

MAKE A SWIM WEEKEND OUT OF THE EVENT!
Enter as a one-off event or make a weekend of it. Accommodation is available at the lake (link below), with group/family style cabins...allowing an overnight/weekend stay...you could also book a couple of weekend swims in the Lizard with us and/or attend the lakes Sunday morning swim session.
