Christmas presents for swimmers...

Swimming holidays, events and coaching will always be what we’re most passionate about. However, we really enjoy designing products for open water and wild swimmers. We started by designing open water swimming greetings card and primarily gifts for swimmers that would fit in an envelope with a swimming greetings card. This was a little limiting though, so we diversified and added additional gifts for swimmers and a number of products that would suit the swimming community. The majority of our swimming products are £30 or under, a large portion of the products are designed by us and aimed at both open water swimming and wild swimmers.

Originally we felt that there was a lack of greetings cards aimed at swimmers, so we designed and had some produced. We then added some beautiful coastal themed 2s and 3d greetings cards. CHECK OUT GREETINGS CARDS.

We offer a number of swimming products and gifts that fit perfectly with a greetings card, whether it be Christmas, a birthday or simply a pick-me-up. Greetings card sized gifts include Cornwall and swimming-themed stickers, swimming themed pocket mirrors, stunning pictured based fridge magnets of Cornwall, as well as photo based bookmarks of Cornwall and Sea Swim Cornwall vouchers for our fantastic swims and swimming activities.

In addition to the ‘smaller’ gifts we have a number of larger items, ideal for swimmers. We sell our very own towelling robes - making them as affordable as possible.

…as well as tidal clocks, making it nice and easy to plan your swim. Wild Swimming Oil specifically designed for open water users that are exposed to the elements.

Finally, we offer books, swimming goggles, wild swimming themed tote and swimming bags, as well as our spectacular in-house designed swimming caps and Sea Swim Cornwall branded t-shirts.

Wild & Open water swimming clothing

We’ve been working hard to add additional swim-related clothing to our collection over the past 6 months. We’ve added :

Wild swimming t-shirt, with the logo ‘Wild Swimmer 365’. It’s a celebration of the all year round swimmer. With large swimming logo on the back and a smaller logo on the left, breast pocket.

A large selection of ‘Wetsuits are for Wimps’ t-shirts…one of our most popular t-shirt logos. This swimming themed t-shirt comes in a number of sizes and colours. We’ve also recently added a hoodie to the collection.

A very recent addition is the ‘Wetsuits are for Wimps’ nightie. We mistakenly added the logo to a number of men’s vests! They are however, perfect as evening wear (nightie) and 100% organic cotton.

In the men’s ranges we have the ‘Real Athletes have Beards’ logo, on a 100% organic cotton, dark grey t-shirt. In addition, we’ve design a new ‘Powered by old man strength’ logo to put on a series of t-shirts. Watch this space.

Products designed for open water swimmers

Tom from the Sea Swim Cornwall team is very imaginative and has a background in photography and some graphic design. Over the early stages of 2020 he put these talents to good use and set about creating an open water swimming / wild swimming online shop. Most of the products we’ve produced have either been designed by Tom or sketched out….for a ‘proper’ professional to draw up for us.

We’ve tried our very best to create and design products that either didn’t exist or we’ve taken every day products and given them a swimming-twist.

From tote bags to pin badges, woolly hats (for you crazy winter swimmers!) to Calendars and car stickers. We’ve also done our research and sourced fantastic local products that we hope to post out far-and-wide.

The majority of our products are made locally (in Cornwall). Our products are as environmentally friendly as possible and if they’re not, we’re currently looking into alternatives. We’re also very proud of our packaging! In 10 months of trading the only packaging that we’ve purchased is brown paper. We sourced a shed load of old packaging from an old man that lives a few miles down the road at the start of the year and we re-use all of the packaging that we receive from our suppliers. It doesn’t always look entirely polishing when packaged up but….well, we don’t care! For the 2 minutes that the package will be seen we simply don’t think it’s worth the environmental impact.

Mindfulness Colouring Book

Tom was looking for a colouring book of Cornish swims and couldn’t find any…so I made my own. Designed for adults but his kids have thoroughly enjoyed colouring them in during lockdown!

We’ve gone and designed an A4 Mindfulness-style Colouring Book. 14 pages of world class swims to choose from. Including the iconic St Michael’s Mount, Porthcurno and Mousehole Harbour. Simply colour in some of your favourite swims using your imagination, view sample images on the internet or use the book as the perfect excuse to visit Cornwall and swim some of these incredible swims….and then colour the pages first hand!
